Article 1 These Provisions shall apply to all non-exported cigarettes produced within the territory of my country and the sticks, box packaging and labels of foreign imported cigarettes.
Article 2 Misleading language, such as "health care", "efficacy", "safety", "environmental protection", "low harm" and other cigarette ingredients, is prohibited from using misleading language on the cigarette package and in the instructions; "light flavor" , "super light", "soft" and other cigarette quality description terms; "medium and low tar", "low tar", "low tar content" and other description terms.
Article 3 The standard Chinese characters of the People's Republic of China and English health warnings shall be printed on the cigarette package. The warnings are divided into two groups:

Article 4 Health warnings must be used in rotation. For cigarettes of the same brand, the same specification, the same package, and the same barcode in the market circulation, the sticks and boxes of the cigarettes should use two sets of different health warning signs in turn or at the same time every year. correspond.
Article 5 Health warnings should be placed on the front and back of cigarette rods and boxes, with Chinese warnings on the front and corresponding English warnings on the back. The area occupied by the warning area should not be less than 30% of the surface where it is located, and the background color (pattern) of the original trademark can be used.
Article 6 The health warning of the box package should be located at the lower part of the surface where it is located, and the health warning of the package package should be located on the right side of the surface where it is located.
Article 7 Health warnings shall be clear, clear and conspicuous and easy to identify. The Chinese font shall be bold, and the English font shall be Arial Narrow. The height of the Chinese font shall not be less than 2.0mm, and the English shall not be larger than the corresponding Chinese characters. The color adopts a color group that is different from the background color of the warning area.
Article 8 Cigarette packages shall, in accordance with the requirements of national standards, mark the information of smoke components and emissions such as the amount of tar, the amount of nicotine in the smoke, and the amount of carbon monoxide in the smoke, and the height of the Chinese characters shall not be less than 2.0mm. Other labels on cigarette rods and packs should also meet the relevant requirements of national standards.
Article 9 These Regulations shall come into force on January 1, 2009 and shall be interpreted by the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration and the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China.
